Conference on printing technology in Manipal from Nov 22

Manipal, Nov 21 (UNI) The 38th international conference of the International Circle of Educational Institutes for Graphic Arts, Printing Technology and Management will be held here from November 22 to 24.

Conference Chief Coordinator and head of the department of Printing and Media Engineering of the Manipal Institute of Technology Prof Rajendrakumar Anayat told newspersons that over 450 delegates from 21 countries would participate in the conference, the first of its kind in India.

He said about 30 scientific papers have been received, of which about 14 papers would be presented during the two-day scientific session. The conference was also expected to evolve a methodology to bring uniformity in syllabus for printing technology and engineering.

Nine prominent persons in the field of printing technology from India would be honoured on the occasion.
