Boy kills brother, sister after argument

New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) A 23-year-old youth today stabbed to death his younger brother and sister in Mukherjee Nagar area of North Delhi following an argument over the latter's marriage.

Munesh, who worked as an electrical labourer, stabbed his brother Anil (20) and sister Preeti (18) at his residence in Mukherjee Nagar's Indira Vikas Colony, according to sources.

While Anil, who worked with his elder brother Satish in a factory, died on the spot at about 0830 hrs, Preeti was admitted to the Bara Hindu Rao Hospital in a serious condition.

She died in the evening.

The attack followed an argument with them over Preeti's marriage, which was fixed in Chandigarh for December 5.

As Munesh was against the tie-up and there would often be arguments over fixing Preeti's marriage.

Even as the weapon of offence -- the kitchen knife -- seized, the accused is absconding. Efforts are on to arrest him, said the police.
