BJP asks partymen to fear up for 2008 polls
Bhopal, Nov 21 (UNI) BJP Madhya Pradesh incharge general secretary Anant Kumar today asked partymen to gear up for ''Mission 2008'' and ensure a second term for the party in the state.
Mr Kumar, while addressing a party meeting after Mr Narendra Singh Tomar was elected as the next state BJP President, exhorted partymen to set an example by returning to power showing that the BJP could form governments in other states and the Centre.
He asked party workers to be fully prepared to face the challenge for Pandhana assembly by-election and proposed assembly by-election in Udaypura and replicate the victory secured in Vidisha Lok Sabha and Malehra assembly by-elections.
Pointing out that the party had won in elections to eight out of 12 civic bodies as well as in Bhagalpur Lok Sabha by-election, he expressed hope that the party will continue its winning streak in forthcoming Punjab, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, New Delhi and Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.
