Asia Open Wuko Karate from Nov 23

Visakhapatnam, Nov 21 (UNI)More than 2,300 participants from Brazil, China, Germany, Cameroon, Iran, Portugal, Srilanka, Nepal and Pakistan would take part in the first Asia Wuko Continental Open Karate Championship 2006 to be held here from November 23 to 26.

Talking to reporters, Championship Organising Committee Chairman M Vijay Prasad today said Wuko Karate International President Osvaldo and Secretary V V Crisan, along with a five-member team had arrived here to participate in the Championship.

It was for the first time that an Asia level Karate Championship would held in Visakhapatnam.
