Arunachal constitutes Panchayati Raj Election Tribunal
Itanagar, Nov 21 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Governor S K Singh has constituted a one member Panchayati Raj Election Tribunal (PRET) and appointed former judge of Gauhati High Court Justice B Lamare in the post.
He would hold office for a period of one year from the date of assuming charge and be entitled to a salary equal to his last pay drawn less the sum of pension received by him, an official notification said. In case he is already getting the salary equal to the last pay drawn in the capacity of President of Arunachal Pradesh Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission (State Commission), the justice would be paid an honorarium of Rs five thousand per day of actual sitting, the notification added.
The member would also be entitled to other benefits by the state government including, vehicle, accommodation, contingent staff among others, it said.
