16 more PS and POPs to be set up in Tripura
Agartala, Nov 21 (UNI) The Tripura government will create 16 more police stations and outposts to combat insurgency as well as maintain law and order.
According to official sources the state government had already given its approval and a notification would be issued shortly.
Of the proposed eight new police stations Dhalai district will have two and South and West districts three each, while four police outposts would be set up at West district, three at South district and one at North district, sources added.
