Tripura collects Rs 86 cr as small saving schemes

Agartala, Nov 20: Tripura has collected only Rs 86 crore and 56 lakh till September this fiscal as Small Savings Schemes (SSS) against the target of Rs 225 crores, official sources here today said.

The sources said Rs 62 crore 49 lakhs was collected in West district, Rs 11 crore in South district, Rs 8 crore 38 lakh in North district and Rs 4 crore and 28 lakh in Dhalai distict Rs 4 crore 28 lakh till September.

During last fiscal Rs 204 crore 46 lakh was collected from the same scheme, the sources said.
