Stage artiste passes away

Vijayawada, Nov 20 (UNI) Well-known stage artiste P Surya Prakash Rao, considered a patriach, died due to old age at his residence here late last night.

He was 95. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.

His second son Sarat is a film Director in Telugu.

Mr Rao was associated with "Andhra Natika Kala Parishad" for about 50 years. Under his stewardship, the "Parishad" celebrated its silver jubilee in 1960, the Golden jubilee in 1964 and the Diamond jubilee in 1994.
