Rabri condemns lathicharge on junior engineers

Patna, Nov 20 (UNI) Former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi today condemned the lathicharge on agitating junior engineers here during their protest march.

In a release here, Rabri Devi alleged that the NDA government was mercilessly suppressing the agitation of the unemployed junior engineers, who took out a procession demanding absorption in state government services.

Police had also lathicharged Siksha Mitras and homeguards during a silent procession in support of their demands, she added.

She claimed that police had never behaved so irresponsibly during her regime.

Earlier during the day, police used lathis to disperse the mob of agitating enemployed junior engineers at Dakbunglow road crossing here.
