Police unearth Maoist arms dump in AP

Nalgonda, Nov 20 (UNI) Police today unearthed a Maoist arms dump in the hillocks of Rachakonda under Narayanapur Mandal in this district of Andhra Pradesh.

Informing this to reporters, District Superintendent of Police Vijaya Kumar said a party of the Grey Hounds, the elite anti-naxal commando group, found the dump during combing operations.

He said five rifles, 11 grenades, six tiffin box bombs, 36 detonators, four directional mines, one claymore mine, two packets of detonating material, 15 cartridges, electric wires, multi-metres.

uniforms and party literature were seized from the dump.
