Narottam, Darryl in ICICI Golf Series Grand Final

Jaipur, Nov 20 (UNI) Narottam Gupta was a runaway winner in the gross section while Darryl Shergill had to wage a hard battle in the nett category to emerge as the first winners of the ICICI Bank Private Banking Masters golf series here today.

The duo booked their places for the grand finale to be held in March at the Aamby Valley Golf Course in Lonavla.

Narottam Gupta, a seven handicapper, emerged the winner with 34 points, way ahead of Sharad Maheswari and Varun Pandal who were tied at 29 points while deciding winners in gross category.

Maheswari, who plays off a handicap of six, won the second place on a count back over the last six holes.

In the nett category, Darryl Shergill scored 37 points, while Arjun Kuchhal and Manish Soni were tied at 36 points with Kuchhal winning on count back.
