Mysore youth meets with watery grave

Mysore, Nov 20 (UNI) A youth from the city drowned at Gaganachukki falls in Shivanasamudra in Chamarajanagara district of Karnataka, yesterday.

Police said the deceased Lothi Babu (32), an employee of Yuvaraja College, had visited Talakad for the Panchalinga Darshana on Saturday along with five friends. After staying there overnight, they had gone to Gaganachukki falls yesterday. While all his friends stayed on the river bed, Babu ventured deeper and slipped and drowned.

The body was traced this afternoon and handed over to his parents.
