GoAir announces new routes

Mumbai, Nov 20 (UNI) GoAir today announced the commencement of new routes connecting Chennai to Ahmedabad and Hyderabad and Hyderabad to Delhi.

This route expansion comes on the back of GoAir taking delivery of its seventh aircraft. GoAir now flies to 13 cities with 61 flights, a GoAir statement here said.

GoAir recently completed one year of operations and has flown over one million passengers since commencement of its flights on November 4, 2005. The airline has four per cent market share.

Commenting on the commencement of its new sectors and addition of its newest aircraft to the fleet Mr Jeh Wadia, Managing Director, GoAir, said, ''Our route-and-fleet strategy is on schedule per plan.
