GITEX begins from Jan 9 at Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Nov 20 (UNI) Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the Andhra Pradesh government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in their continued support and commitment for GITEX India to be held from January 9 to 11 at the HITEX international exhibition centre in the city.
Talking to reporters here today, DWTC General Manager Abdulla Qassem said since the launch in 2002, the GITEX brand had grown and established a strong connection with the ICT sector in Hyderabad.
''As India continued to surge ahead in the global ICT industry, we are delighted to be an essential part of Hyderabad's continuous development and significant contribution in the ICT sector,'' he said.
GITEX India serves as a valuable business-to-business platform for companies to display the latest technology products and services. ''The ICT community in Hyderabad is enjoying unprecedented growth in the field of IT and its applications for the benefits of the state'' State Principal Secretary, Information Technology and Communications Department K Ratna Prabha said.
