Fire in MPPEB office

Bhopal, Nov 20 (UNI) A fire today broke out in a portion of the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) office here and waste paper in large quantity was gutted, fire brigade sources said.

The fire broke out at about 1130 hrs and 3-4 fire brigade teams were pressed into service. The fire was controlled in a short time.

Sources said fire started in the portion, where waste paper was stored.

It was yet to ascertained what caused the fire and the damage it caused.

Meanwhile, fire brigade teams had been pressed into service after a fire was reported at a house near Kastoorba school in T T Nagar area of the state capital. The fire started at around 1415 hrs.
