Aizawl, Nov 20 (UNI) 'My Home India' (MHI), an education helpline has started its operation here to help North Eastern students to adapt the metro life as they feel out of place there.

Talking to newsmen here yesterday state MHI director Keshav Nandedkar said they would engage the different NE tribes to build up a strong brotherhood among themselves.

MHI had already set up help centres in Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Ahmednagar and Bangalore, he said.

'' Thousands of NE youths are going to metropolitan cities for higher studies every year but not able to continue due to discrination and homesickness,'' Mr Nandedkar said.

The MHI also aims to boost the NE tourism industry and expose handicrafts and cultures of the NE people to outside.
