Devotees take dip in holy Kshipra

Ujjain, MP, Nov 20 (UNI) Thousands of devotees took a holy dip in Kshipra river in this temple town -- home of Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Shiva Temple--on the occasion of Somvati Amavasya today.

A large number of devotees started reaching the temple town since yesterday.

Devotees thronged temples, rest houses and railway stations for the fair near Kshipra river.

Elaborate security arrangements were made in anticipation expectation of a huge crowd at Ramghat and other places.
