CM not averse to conditional FSI rise for religious shrines
Mumbai, Nov 20 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh today said religious places could be granted an increased floor space index (FSI) on certain conditions.
Speaking at a meeting organised on the issue, the Chief Minister said an increased FSI to the religious places could allow them to have proper parking and make residential arrangements for their priests and other staff.
He, however, pointed out that religious shrines, located within residential complexes, cannot be given an increased FSI.
