BSF tightens security along Bangla-Mizoram border

Aizawl, Nov 20 (UNI) The BSF today tightened its security along the Indo-Bangla border in Mizoram to check infiltration due to ongoing political turmoil in Bangladesh.

BSF officials here said the construction of a barbed wire fence along the border has left the land outside the fencing totally unsecure.

BSF had asked it's troops to be more vigilant and conduct pre-operational exercise along the Indo-Bangla border, sources said UNI SNR PP RL GC1204
