Arunachal: Apang denounces China's claim
Itanagar, Nov 20: Denouncing the claim of Chinese ambassador that Arunachal Pradesh is within their territory, State Chief Minister Gegong Apang has said that the claim was illogical and here was no iota of truth.
Arunachal Pradesh was an integral part of India, Mr Apang said and added that people and the state government were fully supporting the Centre in its endeavour to find out an amicable solution to the international boundary dispute with Chinese counterpart.
Apang was addressing the party workers after inaugurating the seven-day zonal level training camp of Congress Seva Dal at Yingkiong in Upper Siang Siang district yesterday, informed sources here today.
Describing the Seva Dal as the backbone of the party, the chief minister called upon the cadres to be intelligent, sincere, dedicated and physically fit while performing their duties.
Exhorting the volunteers to acquaint themselves with the policies, programmes, duties and function of the Congress party, Mr Apang called upon them to have people to people contact to inform the grassroots level people about the policies and programmes of the state government.
