AP Minister launches website for farmers
Rajahmundry, Nov 20 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Road and Buildings Minister J Ramamohan Rao has today said there was every need to convey the Market Committee information to public as well as farmers.
After inaugurating a website at Agriculture Market Committee Premises here, Mr Rao said Rs.3.6 crore was allocated for modernisation and implementation of various schemes.
He said the Girijan Rythu Bazar would be set up for enabling girijans to sell their products and to help them get minimum support price for their produce.
Vijayawada Marketing Committee Deputy Director Moses Jeevanatham said all relevant information was available on the site to enable farmers to get in touch with the market from any nook and corner.
Rajahmundry Market Committee Chairman U Suryappaka Rao said the website would enable them to work faster with needy information.
