AP CM refutes TDP chief's allegations on Volkswagen
Hyderabad, Nov 20 (UNI) Reiterating his Government's committment for corruption-free, transperant and accountable functioning, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today strongly refuted the Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N Chandrababu Naidu's allegations on shifting of Volkswagen factory from the state.
Addressing a press conference here, he said volkswagen had decided to set up its factory in Pune on its own and not due to alleged corrupt practices by his government.
He alleged that Mr Naidu was resorting to cheap tactics.
He said what was surprising was that Mr Naidu, who was aware of all the facts, was trying to gain political milieage out of it.
