2 persons killed in group clash

Allahabad, Nov 20 (UNI) At least two persons were shot dead and four others injured in exchange of fire between two groups over a land dispute here today.

Police said the incident occured in Pure Roopshah village under Mauaima police station area, where two groups clashed over an old land dispute.

The dispute soon snowballed into a full-fledged fight, in which Prem Shankar Yadav and Amar Nath were killed and four others sustained serious wounds after the rival groups resorted to firing.

The injured were rushed to hospital.

A case has been registered.
