According to police, the victims were allegedly abducted from the Kolkata Airport on November 15 evening when they came to Kolkata to visit Dakshineshwar.

Following a tip off, a police team raided a Beledanga jute godown under Gopalnagar police station where the victims were found. The godown is owned by an alleged dreaded criminal of the area.

Preliminary information from the victims revealed that they were abducted when travelling by a car which both had hired from the airport to visit Dakshineshwar. But they found themselves in captivity at the godown next day when they regained senses.

Police suspected that both the victims were drugged.
