2 CRPF personnel among 5 hurt in Srinagar blast
Srinagar, Nov 19: Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were among five people injured in the down town city while another live grenade was defused at Bandipora today, official sources said.
They said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a CRPF roadside bunker at Kawdara in the down town city. However, it missed the intended target and exploded on the roadside, causing injuries to two CRPF personnel and three others. The injured were hospitalised.
Border Security Force (BSF) today recovered a live grenade near a local graveyard at Bandipora in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
The grenade was later defused by the bomb disposal squad.
