Sania-Rushmi wins Videoon Challenge Cup

Siliguri, Nov 19 (UNI) Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza arrived here for the Videocon Challenge Tennis Tournament in Siliguri.

The 20-year-old from Hyderabad paired with Rushmi Chakraborty for a mixed doubles game against Shikha Uberoi and her sister Neha Uberoi on Sunday.

Though Sania and Sikha were the darling of the crowd, the Sania-Rushmi pair won the match 5-7, 6-4, 10-8 in a (super tie-breaker).

At the opening ceremony, Sania won the hearts of the crowd by speaking a line in Bengali. Florida-based Shikha and her sister Neha took time out to talk with young tennis hopefuls of the city.
