Question papers leaked, Tripura Govt cancels test exams
Agartala, Nov 19 (UNI) The Tripura Government today cancelled all the examinations, already taken place in a number of schools, in the state following the leakage of question papers.
According to official sources, the intermediate question papers prepared by Tripura Teacher Association (TTA) had been allegedly leaked.
All the school authorities had been asked to prepare fresh question papers to take up the examination in a number of schools, sources said.
However, Education Minister Keshab Majumder had alleged that the leakage of question papers were as a part of conspiracy against the Government.
The Tripura Government Teacher Association,a frontal organisation of the ruling CPI(M), had demanded punishment to those who were involved in the leakage scam.
Meanwhile, the NSUI sources said the police had charged lathi upon the activists during a deputation regarding the paper leakage yesterday infront of the Secretariate.
NSUI, the congess student wing had demanded stern action against the police.
