PF money on retirement day for coal workers

Asansol, Nov 19: Union Coal minister Sibu Soren has said that all the retired Coal India employees will get their profident fund money on the retirement day.

He also warned against lackadaisical attitude of the workers of Coal India Limited and urged them to improve production.

Addressing the officials and workers while inaugurating the online settlement of Provident Fund for CIL workers here yesterday, Mr Soren also cautioned the ''Mafiosi'' who were exerting sinister influence in the coal belt, specially in Dhanbad and Asansol's Bharat--Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and Eastern Coal Fields Limited (ECL).

Mr Soren handed over cheques to twenty retired employees of the colliery. '' The retired employees will get their provident fund on retirement date,'', he informed.
