Period of loadshedding increased in the state
Agartala, Nov 19 (UNI) The Tripura Electricity Corporation (TSEC) has increased the period of load-shedding after the National Thermal Power Project (NTPC) has stopped power supply to the state from November 16.
The state used to get 25 MW power supply from the NTPC, sources said.
After the NTPC stopped the power supply and repair works at Ranganadi Hydel Power Project in Arunachal Pradesh, the state would be facing severe power crisis for more 45 days, the department officials said.
The process would continue till the repairing works in Arunachal Pradesh is completed, sources said.
