Hyderabad, Nov 19 (UNI)Andhra Pradesh Minister for Marketing Botsa Satyanarayana today took strong exception to the language used in a leading Telugu daily in a report on Volkswagan 2 plant issue.

Addressing a press conference at Congress Legislature Party office here, he alleged that the language used by the paper, hurt the sentiments of the people of north coastal Andhra Pradesh.

He alleged that the newspaper had become a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) pamphlet and it was trying to tarnish the image of the state government and himself to help the TDP candidate in the by- election to the Bobbili Lok Sabha constituency. The minister's wife Botsa Jhansi was contesting as Congress candidate in the forthcoming by-election.

He said the state chief minister had already announced time and again that the state government would proceed against Volkswagon company if there was any breach of promise and agreement.

Alleging that the nesspaper was bent on writing against the state government and its leaders to cover up its mistakes, he said people would ultimately judge the motto behind it.
