LG India posts Rs 2,500 cr sales in October
New Delhi, Nov 19 (UNI) LG Electronics India has posted Rs 2,500 crore sales during the festive season across all product categories, against a marketing spend of Rs 100 crore during the same period.
The company's sales in the display category, which includes conventional CRT TV and Flat Panel Displays (PDPs, LCDs and Flat screen TVs), rose 21 per cent during October at 5.7 lakh units.
In the home appliances category LG India sold 1 lakh washing machines, 1.30 lakh refrigerators, 50,000 microwave ovens and over 30,000 airconditioners.
''India has always been a priority market for LGE and our aggressive festive campaigns this season have been extremely favourable for LG India,'' LGEIL Vice President (Sales and Marketing) said.
The festive period promotion covered Onam, Ganesha and Durga Puja and Diwali.
