Jammu court issues notice to Anara Gupta

Jammu, Nov 19 (UNI) A local court has issued notice to former Miss Jammu Anara Gupta for her appearance in the much-publicised Porno-CD case in which she was allegedly involved.

Chief Judicial Magistrate (Jammu) Sanjay Dhar, taking cognizance of an application filed by Chairman of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted for re-investigation yesterday, issued notice to Anara.

Chief Prosecuting Officer Maroof Ahmed Manhas, appearing for SIT, sought cancellation of Anara's bail on grounds that she was violating the conditions of bail.

The CJM observed that Anara was not cooperating with SIT but her mother Raj Rani said she was presently working in Mumbai. The CJM also issued show cause notice to Kumar Sambhav, brother of Anara Gupta, as to why surety bond be not forfeited.

The application said bail bond and surety bond of Anara Gupta may be cancelled and fresh warrant for her arrest be issued.
