Curfew relaxed for 3 hours in Solapur

Solapur, Nov 19 (UNI) The city continues to be tense although curfew was relaxed between 0800 hrs to 1100 hrs this morning, and will be further lifted between 1700 hrs to 1800 hrs in the evening, police said.

Some incidents of stone pelting have been reported from different parts of the city. A review of the situation will be taken this evening, police said.

Meanwhile, RPI leader Ramdas Athawale has withdrawn the agitation in Solapur but will continue the protest against Dalit killings in Vidarbha through out the state till the winter session of the Assembly in Nagpur.
