Car bomb explodes in Iraqi town, killing 10 - police

BAGHDAD, Nov 19 (Reuters) At least 10 people were killed when a car bomb exploded near a group of day labourers waiting to be hired in the mainly Shi'ite town of Hilla south of Baghdad today, police said.

Police said 15 people were wounded in the blast, which came against a backdrop of continuing sectarian bloodshed between majority Shi'ites and minority Sunnis that has killed thousands.
