Blair praises Musharraf for improving ties with India

Islamabad, Nov 19 (UNI) British Prime Minister Tony Blair today praised Pakistan's President General Pervez Musharraf for his efforts to improve relations with India.

''I pay tributes to President Musharraf for the work he has done for improvement of relations with India and to resolve all outstanding issues,'' he told a press conference in Lahore after talks with General Musharraf.

President Musharraf said he briefed Mr Blair on the progress achieved in the ongoing peace process with India and the desire that he and the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had been expressing for resolution of all outstanding issues including Siachen, Sir Creek and Jammu and Kashmir.
