Azad for zero tolerance against corruption
Jammu, Nov 19 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today said his government would continue with its fight against corruption and promised to focus on the economic growth of the state.
Mr Azad, while addressing a Congress rally in Parade Ground here to mark the 89th birth anniversary of former late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi said, ''I have no personal agenda in Jammu and Kashmir. The only agenda I have is to provide justice to people...
to bring them out of the shackles of poverty, unemployment and corruption.'' ''I'm not going back till my agenda (of reformation) is fulfilled,'' he said.
The Chief Minister also sought support from the people, particularly the intellectuals, in carrying forward his mission.
Union Water Resources Minister Saifuddin Soz, Pradesh Congress Committee president Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed were also present at the rally.
