ACC launches new product in Jharkhand

Jamshedpur, Nov 19 (UNI) India's premier cement company ACC today launched its new product "Foundation to Roof cement"- Specially designed cement for specific applications, here.

Vivek Agnihotri, state Head-East, ACc total reporters that the new product had come up after tieing up with Swiss Cement Company HOLCIM.

He said the new product has been a revolutionary step, which came as a combination of outstanding product coupled dedicated service to the customers by the company's trained experts.

The product, first of its kind in India, would fulfill the overall objective of getting closer to the customery, Mr Agnihotri said.

He said the company's Chaibasa Cement Plant was modernised at cost of Rs 350 crore in January this year and the company's turn over had escalated from 8 MT to 20 MT within 10 years. ACC had registered 5000 Crore turnover in the last fiscal, the Agnihotri added.

Sandip Dasgupta, Regional Head, Customer Service ACC, said the product who launched in Dhanbad, Ranchi said nhow in Steel City Jamshedpur. He said ACC would provide Service to the customer's right from the inception to completion of a building and the customer has to be paid an additonal Rs 10 per packet.

Marketing Leader, HOLCIM, STAR JINGKAOJAI, said HOLCIM tied up with ACC last year for the Joint Venture.
