About 8500 students takes CAT in city

Chennai, Nov 19 (UNI) About 8500 students and professionals in the city and a total of 1.9 lakh IIM aspirants across India today took the Common Admission Test (CAT) for getting an entry to prestigious IIMs and B-schools in the country.

Official sources said, the two-and-a-half-hour long examination was conducted in six centres.

Students, who appeared for the test said this time the authorities had prepared the question paper which tested their accuracy.

They said the data interpretation part was moderate and the English part tough, as the number of choices were less.
