11 notorious dacoits arrested in Bihar

Bagaha, Nov 19 (UNI) Eleven dreaded dacoits were arrested from Survabari village under Laukariya police station in West Champaran district last night, police said today.

Police Superintendent of Bagaha Baldeo Prasad said acting on a tip-off, police raided a hideout in Survabari village and arrested the dacoits.

Two country-made guns and a rifle, besides several live cartridges were recovered from the possession of those arrested, he added.

Interrogation was on to extract more information about their criminal network, he added.

Raids were on to arrest gangster, Chumban Yadav, who, managed to escape.
