XLRI student found hanging: suicidal note

Jamshedpur, Nov 18 (UNI) A pall of gloom descended on this premier steel town after an unnatural death of a student of India's prime management school- XLRI- came to light this morning.

Police today said the body of Chandra Mohan, a second year student of BMD, hailed from Chennai, was found hanaging from the ceiling fan of his hostel's room at around 2230 hrs last night.

The incident created a flutter among the students and the management was forced to cancel today's Alumni meet "Homecoming 2006" prgaramme, after report of death.

The deceased also left a suicidal note saying " he was frustrated with his life as he was suffering from an incurbale rare genetical disease", police added.

This was first such incident that a student of Xavier Labour Relations Institue (XLRI) was found hanging in the hostel room.

The body was sent for post-mortem and his parents were rushing from Chennai to receive the body, police said.
