Venugopala to lead Andhra in Ranji Trophy

Vijayawada, Nov 18 (UNI) Y Venugopala Rao, who represented India in One-day Internationals will lead the Andhra team in Ranji Trophy for the year 2006-2007.

Talking to newspersons here today, former Vice-President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) General Secretary N Venkat Rao said the selection committee had finalised the team after the Conditioning Camp at Visakhapatnam.

Mr Rao said Andhra will take on Haryana in the four-day match at Rohtak from November 23 and Tamil Nadu at Chennai from December one to four.
