Two people remanded in antiques theft case

Patna, Nov 17 (UNI) Special CBI Judicial Magistrate of Patna B K Tiwari today remanded two people to seven-day judicial custody in connection with theft of antiques from Patna Museum.

The court also passed the order to hand over both accused on to CBI for interrogation.

During the day accused Shahid Miraz and Shahid Rashid, both brothers, residents of Gaya district were produced before the court after their arrest from Kolkata by CBI officials.

In all 18 antiques were stolen from the Patna Museum on September 24 this year.

CBI, however recovered two antiques from Kolkata yesterday.
