Three suicide cases registered in Akola

Akola, Nov 18 (UNI) Three suicide cases have been registered in this district since last two days.

Police said, 20-year-old youth Dnyaneshwar Tulsiram Mankar, resident of village Bordi in Akot taluka of this district had allegedly consumed poison to end his life yesterday. He was hospitalised in the district hospital where he died during the treatment.

In another incident, Sima Gaur (35), resident of Pachpor plots in Akot town set herself afire last evening and succumbed to the burn injuries before she could be provided medical treatment.

In the third incident, 25-year-old youth Anil Sonwane, resident of village Kinkhed in Karanja taluka of Washim district hanged himself to a tree till death yesterday. Police said the youth, who had got married only a few months back, committed suicide because his wife left him and went away to her parent's house.
