SVVU Dean honoured

Tirupati, Nov 18(UNI) Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University Dean Md Hafeez has been awarded the prestigious Sri Nishamani Parija award for his contribution to study of Parasites.

The award was presented at the National Conference of Indian Association for advancement of veterinary Parasitology held at Puducherry recently, the varsity said in a release here today.

Mr. Hafeez, who was also the recipient of national environmental scientist award, did extensive research on sarcoystrs, toxoplasomosis, hydatidosis and environmental pollution and headed several research projects on different aspects of zoonotiz diseases, the release added.
