One burnt alive in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 18: One person was burnt alive in his house in the down town city, officials said today.

They said one Ghulam Nabi Khan was burnt alive when a fire broke out in his room at Zaldagar in the down town city late last night.

They said the fire was caused after ''Kangri'' a Kashmiri firepot had overturned on his bed which later engulfed the entire bedding and other furniture in the room.

Yesterday one insane women set herself on fire just outside the SMHS hospital here. She succumbed to her injuries later.
