Nitish govt politicising training camp of panchayat representatives

Patna, Nov 18 (UNI) Leader of the opposition in Bihar assembly Rabri Devi today alleged that the ruling NDA government was trying to gain political mileage from the orientation programmes being organised for newly elected panchayat representatives in the state.

In a release issued here, the former chief minister said the ministers were making lofty speeches highlighting achievements of the government which defeated the very purpose of the training camp.

'' Instead state government should have engaged experts for training of the panchayat representatives'' she observed.

Referring to allleged chaos in the orientation programme in Patna yesterday, she alleged the government had not made proper arragement for staying of the participants, who raised slogans.
