Moderate quake hits Sumatra

New Delhi, Nov 18 (UNI) A moderate quake, measuring 5.6 on the Richter Scale, hit the city of Sumatra in Indonesia this evening, the met office said.

The epicentre of the quake, which occured off the West coast of Sumatra at 1925 hours, lay at 05.0 degree N latitude and 94.8 degree E Longitude, the weather office said.
