Meeting of 2011 World Cup co-hosts on December 11

Mumbai, Nov 18 (UNI) Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sharad Pawar has called a meeting between representatives of all the four boards (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh) which will host the 2011 cricket World Cup next month in Delhi.

The meeting is likely to be held on December 11 and it would discuss the progress of the 2011 World Cup, with representatives of all the four boards attending it, a cricket board source said today.

The meeting has been called to discuss the number of matches to be hosted by each board as per previous talks among the four co-hosting members in the wake of reports that the Pakistan board, which has seen a change at the helm, was unhappy with the allotment of ties.

PCB Chairman Nasim Ashraf had told reporters in Pakistan that no decision had been taken thus far that India was to host the final of the mega event. This statement had caught the BCCI by surprise.
