Lifer for seven in murder case

Patna, Nov 18 (UNI) A local court today awarded life imprisonment to seven accused in a murder case.

Fast track court judge K K Sinha sentenced all the accused to life imprisonment after they were found guilty in the case.

According the charges, the accused had shot dead one Joga Rai at Malbigha Machhariawa village under Fatuha police station area in Patna district on May 19, 2003. Both the accused and victim were the residents of the same village.

Those who were convicted were-- Lallu Rai, Pawan Rai, Sanjay Rai, Devendra Rai alias Babaji, Manoj Rai, Mullu Rai and Shahendra Rai.
