Govt wrests land in guise of development: AIKMS

Rajahmundry, Nov 18 (UNI) All India Kisan Mazdoor Sangh (AIKMS) state president Ms P Tanya today said in the guise of setting up industries and special economic zones (SEZ) the Andhra Pradesh Government acquired lands of the farmers.

Speaking at a two-day East Godavari district unit of AIKMS political training classes Ms Tanya alleged that the government was taking away the assigned lands from dalits to offer the multinational companies.

She also criticised the governement for persuing double standard with welfare schemes on one side and deprivation of rights on the othere.
